Partons Pizza: Great Pizza Discovery!

I had never heard of Partons Pizza until two weeks ago when JLJen told me it was her favorite pizza in Fort Worth. WHAT???!!! Someones favorite pizza in FW is from a place I had never even heard of?? I must go quickly! Well, we went on a Sunday evening, and we too loved the pizza!

First let me say that Partons is a total dive. Located in SW Fort Worth off Cherry Lane in a strip mall between a rough looking bar (the Silver Dollar Saloon) and a suspicious looking "massage parlor." Once inside though, it isn't a bad place! Checkered table cloths, booths, salad buffet and a pizza buffet.

I typically order from the menu rather than eat from a buffet, but at Partons, there was no reason not to eat the buffet because you can request any pizza you want and they will make it fresh and put it out on the buffet. It is like a custom buffet! Even if the pizza you request has unusual toppings - they will make it for the buffet!

We loved the pizza! The crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were great. The tomato and Bacon pizza had a surprise sauce and that surprise was ranch dressing. Yummo! The pizza was salty but I think it was probably because most everything we ate had bacon or pepperoni on it! Bacon was definitely a favorite ingredient which made FWJoey very happy!

Cost of the buffet was $7.40 each and worth every penny! It included the salad bar (which I didn't eat b/c i am not a fan of salad bars but everyone else in our party enjoyed it) and a drink.

Partons does not serve alcohol but you can bring your own beer or wine. If you bring wine, I suggest taking your own corkscrew and I will also warn you that the only glasses they have are frosted beer mugs. Yep, that's right - no wine glasses. Must not be a wine drinking kind of place! Oh well, if you are like us, you'll drink your wine from a good ol' frosty mug!

Great place! We loved it! Try the sausauge, onion and canadian bacon pizza!

We tried it on recommendation from fwjennifer, and loved it too. Very kid-friendly, and the geographic location just adds to the overall experience. Diggin' the old school metal high chairs too.
